Can I adjust the tempo by BPM (Beats Per Minute)?

Pitch Switch allows you to adjust the tempo (or speed) or a song by percentage rather than BPM directly. If the BPM of a track can be detected, it will be displayed in the bottom right hand corner of the application window. This value will change as you move the tempo slider up and down.
Pitch Switch don't allow you to change the track by BPM directly because BPM cannot be detected for all music types (such as classical). The BPM detection algorithm requires music with a strong beat to work correctly. Since we want Pitch Switch to work on all types of music we provide the tempo in "%" which always works.
If you need to adjust the tempo by less than 1%, use the "Enable Fine Tempo Adjust" option under the Settings menu. This will allow you to change the tempo by 0.1% increments.
